BIO

Real change, enduring change, happens one step at a time.” – Ruth Bader Ginsburg

I graduated from Aurora University with a master’s in social work, specializing in child welfare. During my time at Aurora University, I completed two internships. My first internship was working with victims of sexual abuse, where I provided counseling, advocacy, education, and prevention services. My second internship allowed me to work with undocumented families,  where I continued to learn the importance of being culturally competent and advocating for client’s needs.

As a social worker, my goal is to work with vulnerable populations. I aim to help everyone foster the necessary coping skills to aid in their journey. I have received additional training in crisis intervention, sexual assault, and I am a Certified Anxiety-Informed Professional. Additionally, I have experience working with neurodivergent children. I have experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, suicide ideation, adjustment disorders, and
PTSD.

I am also fluent in Spanish.
