BIO

I strongly believe in the saying, “Forward is a Pace.” As a runner, one of the things that I hear most often is the phrase, “It isn’t a sprint. It’s a Marathon”. I want to let you know that healing in times of discomfort or change isn’t meant to be a fast process. Authentic healing is one that you can carry with you long-term. I will be an advocate, empathetic listener, and passenger on your wellness journey.

My position at Silver Oaks Behavioral Hospital provided me with the experience of working with adolescents in intensive outpatient therapy. I also have experience working in a private practice setting at The Cognitive Clinic utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and the Psychodynamic approach. My approach with clients is deeply rooted in trust and a strong therapeutic bond. Everyone is unique, so their story and path to healing are unique.

My passion lies in helping others find healthy coping tools and positive change. When we are stuck in points in our lives that no longer serve us, we feel trapped in patterns and unhealthy ways of coping. Our stories are meant to be heard; however, they don’t have to define us. I have worked with clients of all ages, dealing with grief, eating disorders, substance use, anxiety, depression, family and religious shame, and self-harm. I look forward to joining you on the path to healing and recovery.
