Do you feel overwhelmed, anxious, and don’t know which way to turn? There are times when we all feel that way. There are other times when we need to stop turning around in circles and look for help. As a therapist, I am passionate about making a positive change for behavioral health clients. I have great confidence that behavioral health therapy will assist you in achieving emotional wellness and stability. Additionally, it is my hope that behavioral health therapy will assist you in achieving a better quality of life.
I have an extensive history of working in addictions counseling, anger management, and mental health. I have experience working with adults in outpatient and inpatient settings. My areas of expertise include addictions, anxiety, and anger management.
I use various therapeutic techniques to help promote and support change and success. Most approaches I use are eclectic. However, I may use Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I also integrate Mindfulness and Nature Therapy. My expectation is that the client and therapist will work collaboratively in the treatment process to accomplish the best therapeutic outcome for the client.
