Caryn is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, who received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Roosevelt University and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Caryn has over 12 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families within a variety of therapeutic settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and private practice. Her passion is helping pre-teens, adolescents and adults take ownership of their behavior and make changes that will benefit them in all areas of their lives. Her experience includes working with patients struggling with life transitions, school/work related issues, self-esteem, anxiety, mood disorders, family issues, ADHD, and addiction. Caryn uses a variety of modalities in helping her clients achieve their goals, and her approach is warm, supportive, collaborative and solution focused. Caryn believes that a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship and feelings of safety and trust are very important to the therapeutic relationship.
